  1. Lovely subtle cuts to the base model - the new Terminator parts blend well.
Glad to see you lost the cloak, even on the stock model it's the weakest feature of the pose.
    Head is from?
    Looking forward to paint!

  2. Wow! My favourite wolf so far!!

That mohawk marauder head is just perfect and as a bonus replaces what I find to be the weakest element of the original mini (apart from the cloak).

    1. Thanks. I think he'll end up a very special model in the group.

  3. I'll just echo what's already been said; this is the best yet. The original miniature has such a beautiful sense of power about to be unleashed. Your conversion loses none of this but manages to change the miniature into something of a noble warrior.

    1. So true. The pose is incredible. FW has been truly kicking as with the Primarchs.

  4. Excellent looking model! It is very seamless, and makes the model look distinct and really come to life. I am amazed at how well those terminator shoulder pads work (the backpack too), they seem to be a really good size. I say this because I know those pieces look small on Vulkan, as I am trying to repurpose him into Alpharius. Is Curze smaller then some of the others? Likewise, the lightning claws look really nice and well scaled (and reminds me how huge they are on the normal plastic terminators, ha ha). Keep up the great work! I cannot wait to see more!

    1. Great observations. Vulcan is the beast. Clearly the biggest of all the primarchs so far and borderline braking the scale thing for this project. So despite having a great start to him as a Wolf Priest I had to call a time out and get a sense how he might fit in after establishing the feel and scale for this project.

  5. Migs - Hell Yeah. That is amazing.

Where are the skulls on the backpack from?

  6. Great stuff. I echo the comments above. Really nicely converted. And that into a very subtle, yet emmensely strong-looking character.

  7. Vosla Helclaw is brilliant - also one of my favourites!

I was initially a bit in doubt about the bat wings on his chest plate, but think that adding the claw emblem turns it into what could resemble a 'family emblem' of sorts for the Helclaw family specifically.

These small details, which are built around the 'left overs' from the originals, just enhance the feeling of different personalities and families within the overall band of brothers.
