Little bit of sculpting done. A layer of finish & detail to add, then gluing on the arms: bolt pistol and chain sword - the classics. I'm starting to get excited of this model. I plan to do the various bionic parts in dark bronze, with a hint of purple, alabaster skin, dark hair, and some red marking and weapon detail to tie in with Inquisitor Alben Silas.
I mentioned earlier she is the "good" in the group and mainly there to make others look truly bad, but having said that, I want an odd, ill setting undercurrent to her. A true sister repentia wife.
thats sweet - loving jakobs version to - ive tried this figure twice and abandoned both - ill get it right one day - im pleased with mi astropath from the chaos sorceror - grey knight sprues lend a lot to inquis conversions ....
ReplyDeletefor lettering on parchment etc - i use a very sharp pencil on white - dry brush lightly to make it look faded finish with a light sepia wash - its less punchy than paint lines and the finished result can look faded and archaic .....
ReplyDeleteI really like her, she looks newly repentent, although I'm looking forward to seeing her with her weapons to get a better image of her. At the moment, I'm not convinced by her top knot, but that could be counterbalanced by her weaponry, or when she's painted.
ReplyDeletesorry need to put that comment in context - of that of seeing other entries but not migs here ......
